For Visiting Teams
- Preserve Pool Address: 5001 N. Preserve Parkway. Greenwood Village, CO 80121. We have a 7 lane, 25 meter pool.
- Meet Manager: Please have meet entries “Heat Sheet Ready” no later than the Thursday before the meet at 12pm. We will combine many events to run a fast meet. We will have 10 copies available for your team. We will have a scratch meeting prior to the start of the meet.
- Minnow Race: JUNE 13 MEET ONLY. Do you have any swimmers for a “minnow” race?
- Parking: We have limited space in the parking lot. We will reserve space (at minimum, one space for a Parent Rep and one space for a Coach). Parking on the streets is available, but please be mindful of driveways.
- Tents: You can set up your tent on the large green space on the southeast side of the pool, outside the gate. There is an entrance to the pool in close proximity to where your tent will be that leads right into the heating area!
- Concessions: We will have plenty of breakfast fare, including burritos, fruit, sweets, treats, and beverages. We will have Subway sandwiches for lunch. We prefer cash, but accept paypal also. We will provide concessions tickets to your coaches for one main course item (burrito or sandwich), one side, and a drink. How many swimmers, Parent Reps, and Coaches do you have?
- Please let your parents know that they will need to check the Swimtopia App for meet results.
Schedule:
- 6:30 am - Pool opens
- 6:45 am – Preserve Team warm ups - 6:45 - 7:15 am
- 7:15 am – Visiting team warm ups - 7:15 - 7:45 am
- 7:30 am - Stroke Judge and Starter/Ref meeting at starter/ref post - EVERY STROKE JUDGE MUST ATTEND
- 7:30 am – Scratch Meeting
- 7:40 am - Timer meeting with starter/ref at starter/ref post - ALL TIMERS MUST ATTEND
- 7:50 am - Welcome, team cheer, and start heating through Event 12
- 7:55 am - National Anthem
- 8:00 am - First event begins!
The following volunteers will be needed from your team. We run two shifts (events 1-45 and 46-90):
- Timers –3 timers per shift
- Stroke judge – 2 per shift
- Heating – 2 per shift
