Attention Piranhas!

Our first meet is tomorrow (Sat 6/2) at Sundance Hills Pool, 5626 S Galena St, Greenwood Village, CO 80111.

Here is important information for meet day:

• Coach JJ would like all swimmers to arrive by 6:50 AM. Piranhas will be in the pool for warm up at 7:05.  Please allow time for parking or drop off.
• Upon arrival you must "check in" at the Piranhas' tent. Any declared swimmers not checked in by 7:15 AM will be scratched from the meet.
• If you are running late, you may text Parent Rep Dusty (303-396-7406) by 7:10 AM to check in.
• Only those swimmer entries who declared (by the Wednesday deadline) are entered in the meet. Therefore, the only changes to the meet program on Saturday should be scratches, substitutions or heat combinations.
• You may set up your tents in the large grassy area east of the dive pool of the (closed) baby pool.
• The host team will post real-time results at the meet and on the Meet Mobile app.
• Should you have meet questions or concerns which require assistance before or during the meet on Saturday, please find/approach one of our terrific parent reps (Dusty Fitzgerald or Danielle Nairns), not the coaching staff or other meet officials. The parent reps will assist you with any questions or concerns.

Here is the pre-meet timeline:

• 6:45-7:05 – Sundance swimmers warm up
• 7:05-7:25 – Preserve swimmers warm up
• 7:25-7:45 – Green Oaks swimmer warm up
• 7:30 – Scratch meeting (in our clubhouse)
• 7:40 – Stroke Judge meeting by the starter tent.
• 7:45 -Timer meeting by the diving board
• 7:50 - Heating begins for events 1-11
• 7:58 – National Anthem
• 8:00 – Meet begins!

As this is a tri-meet (three teams), there will be three volunteer shifts:

• Shift 1 (7:30 to 10:00)
• Shift 2 (10:00 to noon)
• Shift 3 (noon to 2:00 or whenever the meet ends)

Attached please find a copy of tomorrow’s meet program (schedule of events with heat and lane assignments). Those events outlined in red will be combined. Please print your own copy of the attached documents for the meet.

We always suggest warm clothes, extra towels and lots of sunscreen and water for your swimmers. The grand Piranhas tent will be set up as always to provide shade for our swimmers. Food & drinks will be available for sale at the meet.
