Attention Piranhas!

Reminder of Pancakes & Pictures tomorrow morning, Tues 8:00am (all ages). Please read information from the photography vendor here. No swim practice, but wear swimsuits for pictures.

Also, a few general items:

• Parents, please be sure to check relays on meet program. Several swimmers left the first meet early because they didn’t know they were in a free relay.
• Note that coaches will be focusing on technique not yardage as we continue the season.
• Any practice questions or issues should be brought up with Coach JJ and/or Parent Reps Dusty or Danielle.
• Coach JJ has the final say for which group is best for a swimmer to practice with (based on age and ability).
  
• Note the following primary coach assignment per age group: JJ (11& Up), James (9-10), Jack (7-8), Abby (6&Under).  Coaches Bryne, Eva and Willa will float between age groups. 

Finally, reminder to declare your Piranhas swimmer(s) by 12:00 Noon on Wednesday prior to our next meet, Saturday 6/9.

To declare your athlete means that you are telling the coaches whether or not your swimmer(s) will be at this Saturday's meet. If you WILL be attending the meet, please declare "Yes", and then sign up for a maximum of 3 individual events. If you WILL NOT be attending the meet, simply declare "No" for your athletes and you are done. This is very helpful for the coaches as they prepare for the meet and submit meet entries.

To declare for the meet, please do the following:

1. Go to our website and sign in.
2. Click on the "Piranhas" menutab and select the "2018 Calendar of Events" in the drop-down menu. Scroll down to the "Preserve & Green Oaks @ Sundance Hills"event on June 2nd.
3. Click on the green "Meet Entry" to enter your declarations (information should be pre-populated based on your login).

You are encouraged to choose three individual events per swimmer. Note that Coach JJ may change events based on ability level. If you are unable to select individual events for your swimmer, please still declare for the meet and send JJ an email asking him to select the events for your swimmer. Also, the drop-down menu will offer multiple options regarding relays, but we encourage all swimmers to declare as "Attending and available for ANY relays." Please email Coach JJ regarding specific circumstances at [email protected].

Note if your swimmer is not declared in the system, he or she will not be entered for the meet. Please declare your swimmer(s) for every meet, whether attending or not.
