Attention Piranhas!

Our next meet is tomorrow (Saturday 6/23) at Willow Creek 2 Pool, 8500 E Mineral Dr, Centennial, CO 80112

Here is important information for meet day:

• Coach JJ would like all swimmers to arrive by 7:00 AM. Please allow time for parking or drop off.
• Upon arrival you must "check in" at the Piranhas' tent.
• Any declared swimmers not checked in by 7:15 AM will be scratched from the meet.
• If you are running late, you may text Parent Rep Dusty (303-396-7406) by 7:15 AM to check in.
• Piranhas will be in the pool for warm up at 7:15 AM.
• Only those swimmers who declared (by the Wednesday deadline) are entered in the meet; therefore, the only changes to the meet program on Saturday should be scratches, substitutions or heat combinations.
• The host team will post real-time results at the meet. Event results are not final until posted by the host team.
• Should you have meet questions or concerns which require assistance before or during the meet, please find/approach one of our terrific parent reps (Dusty Fitzgerald or Danielle Nairns), not the coaching staff or other meet officials. The parent reps will assist you with any questions or concerns.

Parking/facility tips from the host team:

• Tents may be set-up on the south of the pool outside the fence,near the playground/tennis court. Please bring trash bags and help with tent clean-up at the conclusion of the meet.
• Our parking lot fills up quickly but additional parking is available around the neighborhood. 
• We are going to do a Minnows race before event 1. Please let us know if you have Minnows who would like to try swimming a 25 (with a coach in the water if necessary).

Here is the pre-meet timeline:

• 6:30 Pool opens
• 6:45 Willow Creek warm up
• 7:15 Preserve warm up
• 7:25 Coaches meeting
• 7:30 Scratch meeting
• 7:35 Timers meeting (ALL TIMERS, ALL SHIFTS)
• 7:40 Stroke Judges meeting (ALL JUDGES, ALL SHIFTS)
• 7:50 Heating begins
• 7:55 National Anthem (All other Volunteers in Place)
• 8:00 Meet Begins! MINNOWS RACE FIRST

Attached please find a copy of tomorrow’s meet program (schedule of events with heat and lane assignments). Those events outlined in red will be combined. Also attached is a list of entries by swimmer. Please print your own copy of the attached documents for the meet.

We always suggest warm clothes, extra towels and lots of sunscreen and water for your swimmers. The red Piranhas tent will be set up as always to provide shade for our swimmers. Food & drinks will be available for sale at the meet.
