Attention Piranhas!

Our next meet is tomorrow (Saturday 6/30) v. Cherry Creek Vista at the Preserve pool. This is our last dual meet of the season (and our only home meet), so let's make it a good one.

Here is important information for meet day:

• Coach JJ would like all swimmers to arrive by 6:35 AM. Please allow time for parking or drop off.
• Upon arrival, swimmers (and volunteers) must "check in" at the Piranhas' table.
• Piranhas will be in the pool for warm up at 6:45 AM.
• If you are running late, you may text Parent Rep Dusty (303-396-7406) by 6:55 AM to check in.
• Any declared swimmers not checked in by 7:00 AM will be scratched from the meet.
• Only those swimmers who declared (by the Wednesday deadline) are entered in the meet; therefore, the only changes to the meet program on Saturday should be scratches, substitutions or heat combinations.
• Real-time results will be posted at the meet. Event results are not final until posted by the host team.
• Should you have meet questions or concerns which require assistance before or during the meet, please find/approach one of our terrific parent reps (Dusty Fitzgerald or Danielle Nairns), not the coaching staff or other meet officials. The parent reps will assist you with any questions or concerns.

Note we will be holding a ‘Minnows Race” between Event 45 and Event 46. This "race" is not listed in the meet program but is open to younger swimmers (including Junior Piranhas) who would like to attempt one length of the pool. Coaches will be in the water for this event to assist as needed!

Here is the pre-meet timeline:

• 6:30 Pool opens
• 6:45-7:15 Preserve swimmers warm up
• 7:15-7:45 Cherry Creek Vista swimmers warm up
• 7:30 Scratch meeting - at the picnic table to the left of the main pool entrance
• 7:35: Stroke Judge meeting (All Judges, All shifts), Timers Meeting (All Shifts)- near the guard shack
• 7:50 Begin relay heating
• 7:58 National Anthem
• 8:00 Meet begins!

Attached please find a copy of the meet program (schedule of events with heat and lane assignments). Those events outlined in red will be combined. Also attached is a list of entries by swimmer. Please print your own copy of the attached documents for the meet.

We always suggest warm clothes, extra towels and lots of sunscreen and water for your swimmers. The red Piranhas tent will be set up as always to provide shade for our swimmers. Food & drinks will be available for sale at the meet.
