Attention Piranhas Finalists!

We had a tremendous Prelims week. Congratulations to all those swimmers who qualified for Finals.

The Championship Finals meet will be held tomorrow (Saturday 7/14) at Cherry Creek Vista Pool, 11350 E Orchard Rd, Englewood, CO 80111.

Here is important information for meet day:

• Coach JJ would like all finalists to arrive at the pool by 6:40am and immediately check in at the Piranhas Tent.  Please allow time for parking or drop off.  
• Piranhas will be in the pool for warm up at 6:50am.  
• If running late, you may call or text Coach JJ at 720-215-8276 to check in.
• Any swimmer not checked in by 6:50am will be scratched from the meet. 

Pre-Meet Schedule:

• 7:00a Scratch Meeting 
• 7:25a Coaches Meeting with Starter/Referee 
• 7:35a Stroke Judge Meeting with Starter/Referee 
• 7:45a Timer’s Meeting with Starter/Referee 
• 7:50a Final Warm-up session ends (clear pool) 
• 8:00a Start of Meet

Attached please find a meet information sheet, venue map and meet timeline. With regard to the timeline, keep in mind the meet may run faster (or slower) than the timeline, so please be ready for heating well in advance of your stated event/heat times. Please see the meet info sheet for tent location, parking, concessions, etc.  As always, we suggest you bring warm clothes, extra towels and lots of sunscreen and water for your swimmers.

Additional meet info:

Each Finals event is conducted in two heats: Championship and Consolation. Finish places 1-8 are awarded within the Championship heat and finish places 9-16 are awarded within the Consolation heat, regardless of results times across heats. A swimmer in the Consolation heat cannot place higher than 9th. 

League trophies will be awarded to teams by gender for each age group. Trophies for 6 & Under will be awarded separately from 8 & U; 6 & U swimmers will be excluded when computing trophy points for 8 & U.
