Attention Piranhas!

Our first regular season meet is tomorrow (Saturday, June 1st) at Cherry Creek Vista pool. We'll be competing against the Heritage Village Sea Lions and the Cherry Creek Vista Vikings. As this will be a tri-meet (three teams competing), please anticipate a later finish time (~ 1:45 pm) than normal dual meets.

Here is important information for meet day:

• Coach JJ would like all swimmers to arrive by 6:45 AM. Please allow time for parking or drop off.
• Upon arrival, swimmers (and volunteers) must "check in" at our table next to the red Piranhas tent.
• Piranhas will be in the pool for warm up at 6:55 AM.
• If you are running late, you may text Parent Rep Lindsey or Parent Rep Nicole (see contact numbers below) by 7:05 AM to check in.
• Any declared swimmers not checked in by 7:10 AM will be scratched from the meet.
• Only those swimmers who declared (by the Wednesday deadline) are entered in the meet; therefore, the only changes to the meet program on Saturday should be scratches, substitutions or heat combinations.
• Please arrive early for volunteer shifts; Stroke Judges and Timers- please see meeting timeline below.
• Real-time results will be posted at the meet. Note that event results are not final (including on Meet Mobile) until posted by the host team.
• Food & drinks will be available for sale at the meet.
• As we will be guests at the host pool, please maintain and leave a clean tent/seating area.
• We always suggest warm clothes, extra towels and lots of sunscreen and water for your swimmers. The red Piranhas tent will be set up as always to provide shade for our swimmers. Feel free to set up your own chairs and small shade tents near the Piranhas tent..
• Should you have meet questions or concerns which require assistance before or during the meet, please find/approach one of our terrific parent reps (see contact info below), not the coaching staff or other meet officials. The parent reps will assist you with any questions or concerns.

• 6:45 Preserve swimmers arrive & check in
• 6:55-7:20 Preserve swimmers in water for warmup
• 7:25 Scratch meeting at the scoring tent (by the small slide, NW corner of the pool)
• 7:40: Stroke Judge & Timers meeting (all shifts) at the officials tent
• 7:50 Relay heating begins
• 7:57 National Anthem
• 8:00 Meet begins!
• 10:20 Volunteer Shift Change 1
• 12:40 Volunteer Shift Change 2

Attached please find a copy of the meet program (schedule of events with heat and lane assignments); events outlined in red will be combined. Also attached is a list of entries by swimmer. Please print your own copy of the attached documents to bring to the meet.
