Hello Piranhas Families!

Congrats to all swimmers on a great meet yesterday at CCV, and big thanks to our terrific volunteers.

We want to share information about two fun programs for the swimmers that our Fun Committee has put together:

1. Collect Swim Awards- This is for ANY and ALL swimmers who would like to participate. Junior Coach Joy Graziano has kindly taken a leadership role with this and will be the coach the kiddos go to each week to collect their swim awards. Coach Joy will be available for award collection at the end of each age group practice on Mondays & Fridays ONLY. If you miss one week, you can always collect the next week. Collecting swim awards is on the honors system and please hang on to your chains as we only have enough for each swimmer to get one. Please read the attached flyer for details.

**If your swimmer did not pick up his/her chain at the intrasquad meet, please see Coach Joy at practice on Monday or Friday to pick it up.

2. BIG Fish LITTLE Fish - Participation in this program was an optional election at the time of registration. This program allows older kids (10+) to cheer on and support the younger swimmers and is a great way to close the age gaps and get kids familiar with one another! Throughout the season BIG and LITTLE fish will bring homemade signs, homemade flags, and candy/small treat to one another as a way of encouraging them at each meet. Please read the attached flyer for details. The BIG Fish LITTLE Fish pairings are also attached.

We were planning a photo booth with the BIG Fish LITTLE Fish pairings at the intrasquad meet but, due to the poor weather at the end, we decided to do it another day. Please stay tuned for that!

**For those families that did not sign up for the BIG Fish LITTLE FISH program initially but are interested, please email Carly Schlissberg ([email protected]) directly and we will see what we can do!

Last, we've put together a Piranha News Bulletin Board at the pool, so please check it out!

Also, this is last call to RSVP for the Piranhas Parent Party, Saturday June 8th, 6-9:30pm at the Uhrig Residence, 4040 East Forbes Court. This is an adult-only event that you won't want to miss. Food, drinks & fun! $25 per person (click here to RSVP, then Checkout to pay via Paypal).
