Hello Piranhas Families!

The school year is almost finished, the weather is turning warmer, and we're ready to swim!  Afternoon practices begin tomorrow. 

Importantly, we need to have all swimmers registered on the Swimmingly app as soon as possible, in advance of our first meet (intrasquad practice meet on Wed June 2).  Please read below for more information.  

Piranhas Practice Schedule, May 24-June 4 (afternoon practices): 

• Ages 10 & Under, Mon-Fri, 4:15p-5:15p 
• Ages 11-18, Mon-Fri, 5:15p-6:30p
• No practice on May 31 (Memorial Day)

Swimmingly app registration: Reminder that Piranhas parents must register their swimmers on the Swimmingly app to enable those swimmers to participate in our swim meets this summer. The cost for the 2021 season is $10 per swimmer, which you will be prompted to pay during this quick registration process. To register, please complete the following at your earliest convenience:

1. First, sign up for your personal Swimmingly Clubhouse account at https://clubhouse.swimmingly.app/.
2. Then, go to the The Preserve's team signup page at https://clubhouse.swimmingly.app/clubs/register/2... (or, if prompted, enter our club's swimmer signup code: 26a6054d-3afc-11eb-83f7-c2b3e1fb23ce).
3. Choose the swim season for which you wish to register (2021 season!).
4. Click the 'Add Swimmer' button to enter your swimmer's information (repeat for multiple swimmers).
5. Click Submit!
6. Pay the Swimmingly membership fee ($10 per swimmer for 2021).
7. That's it! Your children are now entered onto the team roster and are ready for a fun swim season.

Your Swimmingly membership includes the SwimminglyFan app, which parents & family members of registered swimmers will be able to download (through IOS/iPhone or Android app store) to receive push notifications and view mobile-friendly heat sheets and real-time meet/race results. Key season dates:

• 5/24: After-school swim practices for Piranhas will begin on Monday, May 24. You can view the complete practice schedule here.
• 6/2: Our first (intrasquad practice) meet will be on Wednesday, June 2 at 4:30 pm, followed by the first regular season meet on Saturday, June 5. You can view all meet dates in the Calendar of Events.
• 6/3: Stroke clinics will be held once per week (age group specific dates; one hour per age group) for four consecutive weeks beginning on June 3.
• 6/7: Morning practices will begin for Piranhas on Monday, June 7.
• 6/7: The Junior Piranhas program will begin on Monday, June 7 and consist of four 30-minute sessions per week, Monday through Thursday, for four consecutive weeks. You can view complete information about the JP program here.
• 6/17: Pancakes & Pictures will be on Thursday, June 17 at 8:00 am.
• 7/11: Our team banquet will be held on Sunday, July 11 at 4:00 pm.
• 7/17: Due to anticipated Covid restrictions, there will be no prelims meets this season; instead each team will hold a virtual finals meet. All registered swimmers (normally eligible for prelims) will be eligible to participate in this year’s finals meet. Our virtual finals meet will be held at the Preserve pool on Saturday July 17.
