Piranhas, 

Our first week of practice is off to a great start! Thanks to everyone, new faces and familiar, for jumping in the pool this week with enthusiasm. Thank you also for your patience as we continue to work hard, make adjustments, and get things up and running full speed for the season. 

We will hold our annual intrasquad meet next Wednesday, May 31st starting at 5 p.m. at the Preserve Pool. This is a great practice meet for all of our swimmers, coaches, parents and volunteers. It's just for fun, and it's a lot of fun! And there's pizza. . . 

As with all our swim meets, parents are required to declare their swimmers (even if you are not planning to attend, we need to know that) and select events for the intrasquad. Again, a great way to practice! You'll find step by step information on how to enter your swimmers on our website, HERE. Since there may be a little learning curve, or some dusting off for some families, entries are open now and will close on Sunday evening. Please have your entries in before 7pm, this Sunday, May 28th. 

We respect your discretion as parents; enter your swimmers in multiple events to try new strokes, ease them in to one or two events, or simply bring them to watch how a meet works as a first step for our littlest 6U swimmers. Ask our coaches for guidance as well. Junior Piranhas, you are welcome to come watch the meet and cheer on the team as you get ready to begin your practice sessions on June 5th.
