Season Kick-off - Join us for practice and Kona ice on Monday!
Welcome New and Returning Piranhas!
We are so excited to kick off swim team practice on Monday, May 20th after school. This year, we have a strong coaching staff that is dedicated to creating an environment where swimmers of all ages can gain confidence, learn new skills, and improve their abilities. You can find their bios and pictures under the "Coaches" tab on the website for more information.
As a reminder, the kickoff practice will take place May 20th from 4:30-6:30pm as we welcome everyone back to the pool. We will also have a Kona Ice truck on site starting at 5:15pm. All ages are welcome to join. In addition, if you ordered apparel/swimsuits, Lindsay Ceilly will be onsite to distribute your orders. Below are the afternoon practice times from May 20th thru May 31st:
Ages 8 and under: 4:30-5:30pm
Ages 9 and up: 5:30-6:30pm
Note: Junior Piranha practices don't begin until June 3rd, however, they are welcome to stop by to meet the coaches and enjoy a Kona Ice on May 20th.
Our intrasquad meet will take place on May 29th in place of practice. This is a great opportunity to refresh your swimmers that have attended a meet before as well as a practice for those who haven't. Plus it gives all the parent volunteers an opportunity to run a practice meet before the Dual Meets start!
The Preserve Piranhas will be hosting our first Dual Meet on Saturday, June 1st against Willow Creek II. Per league requirements, your child must swim in 2 of the 5 dual meets this June in order to be able to compete in Prelims in July.
