Piranha families,

Congrats again to all the Piranhas that swam last Saturday and brought home the WIN! Our final Tri-Meet for the season is Saturday, June 29th. As a reminder, in order to be eligible to compete in Prelims next month, every swimmer must compete in a minimum of two of the June swim meets...this Saturday is your last chance!

Junior Piranha Families - We hope you've had an amazing month of swim lessons. Your last practice will be on Thursday, June 27th. We hope you'll join us at the Banquet on July 14th for awards and dinner (Please RSVP here).

Piranha Families - See additional info below on Prelims/Finals. If you are not planning to attend Prelims, your last practice will be Friday, June 28th and your last swim meet opportunity will be Saturday, June 29th. Please still plan to join us on July 14th for the team banquet for awards and dinner (RSVP here).

We only have three weeks left in the season, but see the list below of Upcoming Action Items and additional info.

• Declare for Saturday, June 29th meet at Bow Mar South (4591 South Sumac Lane, Littleton, CO 80123). Deadline to declare is Wednesday, June 26 at 12pm MT

• Order RMSL championship T-shirts by June 26th: Out of Breath sports will be at Prelims/Finals selling shirts, but with a limited number and sizes. If you want to secure and personalize your own, please order online ahead of time. https://outofbreathsports.tuosystems.com/stores/rmsl24

• Declare for Prelims meet(s) and signup for Volunteer shifts. Deadline to declare your swimmers' events is Sunday, June 30th at midnight for all meets listed below. (Note, if your child still needs to swim on June 29th to count as their second meet in June, you won't be able to signup for Prelims until that meet has ended.)
  • Monday, July 8 (13&up) @ Cherry Creek Vista (11350 E. Orchard Rd, Englewood)
  • Tuesday, July 9 (8&U) @ Heritage Greens (4814 E. Links Cir., Centennial)
  • Wednesday, July 10 (9-10) @ Homestead (6767 E. Easter Ave, Centennial)
  • Thursday, July 11 (11-12) @ Homestead Farm II (7675 S. Krameria St, Centennial)
• Order Piranha Team / Individual Photos - you should have received an email with a link to your swimmers picture gallery. Please check your SPAM folder if you did not receive it or you can reach out to Imagetek via text at 303-955-0375 or via email at [email protected].
• Consolation/Championship Heats at Finals
  
  • Prelims: top 16 will make it to Finals meet on Saturday, July 13th
  • Places 9-16 at Prelims will qualify for Consolation heat and will ONLY be able to place as high as 9^th at finals regardless of time (except for disqualification- no points awarded to that swimmer).
  • Places 1-8 at Prelims will qualify for the Championship Heat and can only place as low as 8^th place regardless of time (except for disqualification- no points awarded to that swimmer)
  • Reminder to swimmers and coaches of this is why doing your best at Prelims is important
• RSVP for the Swim Team Banquet, on Sunday, July 14th starting at 2:30pm. We'll begin the event with awards, enjoy some free swim, eat dinner, watch a slideshow, and enjoy dessert! This our last team event for the season and we hope everyone can make it. Please RSVP so we can place the food orders ahead of time (no charge to attend this year thanks to our amazing team sponsors!). If you can help out the day of as well, we'd appreciate it...please see the volunteer roles needed for banquet setup under Job Signup.
• Do you own a pickup truck or large XL SUV? We are in need of someone to transport the Red Preserve Piranhas Team tent to our meet on Saturday, June 29th! Email us if you are available. In addition, we have created a job signup if you can transport the tent to one of the Prelims meets and/or Finals, please signup online.
