I hope you are all excited for the final Tri-Meet of the season on Saturday, June 29th!  For those of you that are not continuing on to Prelims, we hope you had an amazing summer swimming with us and can't wait to celebrate it at the Team Banquet on Sunday, July 14th at 2:30pm.  Please RSVP here

Reminder: for those of eligible to swim at Prelims, you must declare your events Sunday, June 30th at midnight.  Parent volunteers from every team are required at Prelims and Finals, so please select Job Signup options for each day you'll be attending.  Signup for Prelims and Volunteer roles here

Please see the following information for Saturday's Tri-Meet:

Pool Address: 4591 South Sumac Lane, Littleton, CO 80123. Bow Mar South has a 6 lane, 25 meter pool. 

Parking: Street parking is available along South Sumac Lane and throughout the neighborhood. We just ask that the dumpster located in the cul-de-sac not be blocked and be mindful of driveways. We do not have a designated parking lot.

Tent Set-Up: Please see attached map for where to put your tents. Due to this being a tri-meet we will have both teams set up outside of our pool area. We will have coaches tents on deck on the south side of our pool. 

Heat Sheet, Athlete rosters, and Parent Volunteer roles/timeline are attached, please see timeline below:

• 6:30am-6:50am: Pool Opens, BMS swimmer warm-ups
• 6:50am-7:10am:  Preserve Piranha swimmer warm-ups 
• 7:10am-7:30am: Ben Franklin swimmer warm-ups
• 7:20am: Scratch meeting by the guard shack (ALL SWIMMERS MUST CHECK-IN WITH KRISTEN CASE AND JAKE GRAMLICH PRIOR TO 7:20AM)
• 7:30am:  Stroke judge & Timer meeting with starter (Shifts 2 & 3 will meet 10 minutes BEFORE shift changes)
• 7:50am: Start heating through event 12
• 7:58am: National anthem
• 8:00am: The first race begins!

All swimmers must arrive and/or check in prior to the 7:20am scratch meeting. If you have a last minute issue that prevents you from attending the meet, please email [email protected] ASAP. We are counting on everyone that signed up to be there to help us win (especially if you are on a relay!!).

• The Bow Mar South team will offer selling burritos and coffee in the morning to get your day going as well as candy, water and drinks, soup, fruit, and grilling burgers and hot dogs for lunch plus pizza! Cash & venmo accepted.
• To save time at check-in, feel free to tattoo your child with their Event, Heat, and Lane info ahead of time, e.g.:

• Declare for Prelims meet(s) and signup for Volunteer shifts. Deadline to declare your swimmers' events is Sunday, June 30th at midnight for all meets listed below. (Note, if your child still needs to swim on June 29th to count as their second meet in June, you won't be able to signup for Prelims until that meet has ended.)

  • 11 & up: 8am-9am
  • 10 & under: 9am-10am
• July 4th - 8th: No practice

• Order Piranha Team / Individual Photos - you should have received an email with a link to your swimmers picture gallery. Please check your SPAM folder if you did not receive it or you can reach out to Imagetek via text at 303-955-0375 or via email at customerservice@imagetekphoto.com.
• RSVP for the Swim Team Banquet, on Sunday, July 14th starting at 2:30pm. We'll begin the event with awards, enjoy some free swim, eat dinner, watch a slideshow, and enjoy dessert! This our last team event for the season and we hope everyone can make it. Please RSVP so we can place the food orders ahead of time (no charge to attend this year thanks to our amazing team sponsors!). If you can help out the day of as well, we'd appreciate it...please see the volunteer roles needed for banquet setup under Job Signup.
