Piranha Families,

Our pool's boiler (heating system) did not heat overnight due to a system error.  The error has been addressed, but the pool is too chilly for swimming practice this evening, Thursday, May 22nd.  Coaches will be on deck to lead dryland practices at 4:30pm (8&under) and 5:30pm (9&up). We apologize for all the pool shenanigans this week, but we are in daily contact with the pool management company and HOA, and will continue to remain flexible as we get updates. Ensuring a fun and safe experience for all our Piranhas is our number 1 priority this summer!

As a reminder, please declare (aka, RSVP) for the May 28th Intrasquad meet by 12pm on Sunday, May 25th.  The deadline to signup for the May 31st Home Tri-Meet (limit of 2 individual events) is 12pm on Wednesday, May 28th.  Instructions on signing up are here: How to Sign Up For Meets (even if you aren't planning to attend please let coaches know by following these instructions).

• Wed, May 28th at 12pm - deadline to signup for Tri-Meet on 5/31
• Wed, May 28th: Intrasquad Meet starts at 4:30pm (arrive 3:30pm for warmups and check-in if you are free); Pizza party starts at 5:30pm 
• Fri, May 30th: BYOB dinner at the pool after practice - bring dinner to the pool, socialize, swim, and help us setup for the Tri-Meet on Saturday morning
• Sat, May 31st: Home Tri-Meet vs. Ben Franklin & Willow Creek II 
• Mon, June 2nd: Morning Practices & Junior Piranha Program Begin - Practice Schedule
• Wed, June 4th at 12pm: Deadline to signup for Dual Meet on 6/7
• Sat, June 7th: Dual Meet at Hampden Heights
• Wed, June 11th: Pictures & Pancakes! Save the date for Picture day - swing by the pool in your team suit anytime from 8am - 10am.  A pancake truck will be serving up breakfast to everyone.  No formal practice, but swimmers are welcome to have free swim or just take their pictures and get on with their day!

Interested in getting involved with Swim Team this summer?

• We are in dire need of Stroke Judges! This is a meet day volunteer shift for parents that have some prior swim experience (or are excited to learn more about the rules). You'll get a front row seat to all the races on meet day....just take a quick online course (as many times as you need), pass the quiz, and you're good to go. Please email us if interested!
• Interim social chair needed! We need help planning our end of season banquet on Sunday, July 13th.  If you are in town and available to help out that day, please email us (you will be relieved of meet day volunteer shifts for taking this one on)!
